Never apologize for showing feelings. When you do so, you apologize for the truth ~Benjamin Disraeli
We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly ~ Sam Keen
Winners never quit and quitters never win ~ Vince Lombardi
No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted ~ Aesop
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there
They serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be – a roommate, a neighbor, a professor, a friend, a lover, or even a complete stranger –
But when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.
Sometimes things happen to you and at that time they may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first,
But in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would never have realized your potential, strength, will power, or heart.
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity, all occur to test the limits of the soul.
Without these small tests, whatever they may be, events, illnesses, or relationships, life would be like a smooth paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.
It would be safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your life and the successes and downfalls you experience,
They help to create who you are and who you become.
Even the bad experiences can be learned from.
In fact, they are sometimes the most important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious
to whom you open your heart.
If someone loves you, give love back to them in whatever way you can, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because
they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.
Make every day count.
Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can,
for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people that you have never talked to before and listen to what they have to say.
Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high.
Hold your head up because you have every right to.
Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.
You can make anything you wish of your life. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.
Learn a lesson in life each day that you live!
Reason, Season, or Lifetime
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed
They have come to assist you through a difficulty
To provide you with guidance and support
To aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually
They may seem like a godsend and they are
They are there for the reason you need them to be
Then without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time
This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end
Sometimes they die
Sometimes they walk away
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled
Their work is done
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on
Some people come into your life for a SEASON
Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh
They may teach you something you have never done
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy
Believe it, it is real
But only for a season
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons
Things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation
Your job is to accept the lesson
Love the person and put what you have learned
To use in all other relationships and areas of your life
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant
Thank you for being a part of my life
Whether you were a reason, a season, or a lifetime
